PARCELFORCE Worldwide is owned by the Royal Mail. It is the world's leader in providing parcel collection and delivery, sending 35million consignments each year across the UK and to 240 worldwide destinations. They are also in partnerships with GMS (mainly Europe) and EMS (International) services.

Handling parcels up to 30Kg and 1.5 meters total length or 3metres maximum combined length and girth you can simply book your delivery and pay online for the service you require. If you register and become an account holder with them they also offer a number of discount rates, monthly invoicing and enhanced dispatch systems. In addition, if you already are a franking machine user then you can pay for the courier service this way.

Selection of services:

“Next day morning UK Express” (which guarantees delivery by 9 10 and 12noon the following day) through to
“globalpriority” Delivery from three working days to Europe and US and four working days to most other destinations
“globalexpress” Express delivery worldwide with next working day delivery to Europe, next working day by 10.30am to the US and next working day by 12 noon to Canada.   All other destinations from two working days
“globaleconomy” - their cheapest service for Worldwide destinations. It is not, however, available to European countries and has no compensation for loss, damage or delay.
Expresscollect - Collect from 8am (excluding Sundays)
Other services include “Bulk” and “Bulk Direct” which deliver pallets worldwide as well as offering a BFPO (British Forces Personnel Overseas) service.

Benefits on offer:

1) “Price my parcel” enables you to establish the cost of a parcel prior to dispatch.
2) Track and trace sends you email proof of delivery and offers you the chance to update your parcels progress
3) Documentation and dispatch report printing
4) You can arrange to pick your parcel up from the depot (no extra charge) or even your local post office (for a small fee). You will need to take the Redelivery card, as well as proof of identity & proof of delivery address with you.
5) You can have the parcel redelivered to a different address for a small fee.
6) You can pay any customs charges online.
7) Confirmations emailed to you.
8) Compensation cover up to £2500 per consignment available.
9) Vehicle choice available.
10) Service available around the clock every day of the year with ad hoc or scheduled times for delivery.
11) Signature required for delivery.
12) Refunds and Compensation included in many cases. This varies according to which service being utilized but the amount of cover can also be increased for a small fee in many cases.
13) Authorization cards for added security.
14) A comprehensive returns facility is available.
15) Where cost is more important than speed they offer International services for non account holders.
16) Allows retail customers to ship to services personnel (BFPO) across the world.
